We collect information that you provide directly to us:

• Account Information: Name, email address, and login credentials when you create an account.
• User Content: Images you upload (e.g., photos of rooms or floor plans) and any markups, annotations, or text prompts you add to those images.
• Payment Information: We do not store credit card numbers on our servers. Payments are processed through Apple Payments (for in-app purchases) and Stripe (for external billing). These providers share transaction confirmations with us but keep your sensitive financial data secure on their own platforms.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide the renovation planning and image markup features of the App.
• Process your payments and manage your subscription.
• Improve our AI-driven markup suggestions and user experience.
• Communicate with you regarding updates, security alerts, and support.

3. Third-Party Data Processing & AI

To provide our core features, we share certain data with third-party service providers:

• Google Gemini API (AI Processing): When you upload or mark up an image for renovation planning, that image and its associated metadata are sent to Google's Gemini API. This allows the AI to analyze the space and generate renovation suggestions or markups.

  Note: We use the "Paid Service" tier of the Gemini API, which (per our agreement with Google) ensures your data is not used to train Google's global AI models.

• Payment Processors: Your payment data is handled by Apple and Stripe. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies to understand how they manage your financial information.

4. Data Retention and Security

• Images: We store your uploaded images and markups so you can access them across devices. You may delete your images or your entire account at any time through the App settings.
• Security: We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. Your Rights (CCPA/GDPR/Regional Laws)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Access/Portability: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information and uploaded images.
• Opt-Out of AI Processing: If you wish to stop AI processing of your images, you must cease using the "AI Markup" features of the App.
• California Residents: Under the 2026 CCPA updates, you have the right to opt-out of "Automated Decision-Making Technology." While our App assists in planning, final renovation decisions remain with you (the human user).

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy within the App or via email.
